Merel Dorgelo has been working as a lawyer since 1992, including for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Van Gelder Informatika, Holland Intertrust and AI Engineering. She specialized in legal aspects of software projects and IT staff. In 2000 she started her own company Switch2Future, mainly for outsourcing and immigration issues. Since 2002 she also works as a lawyer specialized in IT and immigration of technical personnel.

This registration obliges Merel Dorgelo to achieve ten training points per calendar year in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
